• Left-handed pitcher Jake Pettit picked up the win in his Triple-A Norfolk debut on Saturday, pitching 6 1/3 innings and allowing two earned runs to go with seven strikeouts. The 26-year-old lefty, a 42nd round pick in the 2010 Draft, led the Tides to a 3-2 victory over Syracuse.

• The Orioles entered Saturday with the most road wins in the American League (13), and the highest road winning percentage (.619).
