Worth noting

• Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said he will attempt to get Evan Gattis in the lineup for Wednesday afternoon's series finale against the Twins. Gattis could play left field to give Justin Upton a breather. There is also a chance he could catch that game. But starting catcher Brian McCann already rested while backup Gerald Laird started Monday's game behind the plate. McCann had caught each of the previous three days against the Dodgers.

• With Sunday's win, the Braves improved to 2-14 in games in which they have not hit a home run. They entered Monday 23-4 in games in which they have hit at least one home run.
