Worth noting

• Catcher A.J. Pierzynski was charged with a passed ball in the eighth inning on Tuesday night. That was the first passed ball by a Rangers catcher this season. They were the only American League team without a passed ball.

• Kinsler, who is eligible to come off the disabled list on June 2, said he expects a minimum 15-day stay on the disabled list. But he has not yet resumed baseball activities.

• The Rangers are expected to face Saunders on Friday in Seattle. That will end a run of 10 straight games facing a right-handed starter.
