• According to Redmond, Chris Coghlan had an MRI and results were expected late Monday or early Tuesday. Coghlan was placed on the 15-day DL Sunday with right calf nerve irritation.

• Right-hander Nathan Eovaldi's rehabilitation start on Sunday was rained out after one inning. He will make another on Thursday at Double-A Jacksonville and be re-evaluated. Right-hander Henderson Alvarez will begin his rehab assignment on Thursday in Jupiter. Neither pitcher has made his 2013 debut because of right shoulder inflammation.

• Infielder Donovan Solano and first baseman Joe Mahoney were reinstated from the DL and optioned to Triple-A New Orleans on Monday.
