Worth noting

• Pitcher Tsuyoshi Wada, in his first outing since being activated from the disabled list and optioned to Triple-A Norfolk, went 6 2/3 innings and allowed a run on five hits Monday. He struck out eight and didn't issue a walk, exiting to a standing ovation.

• The Orioles agreed to terms on Monday with fourth-round Draft pick Jonah Heim. Heim is a switch-hitting high school catcher who had committed to Michigan State.

• Brian Roberts was among several Orioles who took early batting practice on Monday, and Showalter said Roberts, who is on the DL with a hamstring injury, has done pretty much everything but run in short bursts.
