Worth noting

• Bochy said every reliever was available for Saurday's afternoon game against the Marlins except for Jean Machi, who had appeared in consecutive games. Tim Lincecum went seven innings for the Giants on Friday, but it required four relievers to escape Miami's three-run eighth inning.

• With Friday's 6-3 Marlins win, Miami has now won nine consecutive games in San Francisco. Only the Dodgers have registered a longer winning streak at AT&T Park, as they won 11 straight from August 2006 to July 2007.

• The Giants entered Saturday having not hit a home run in a season-high seven straight games. San Francisco's last long ball came on a Blanco leadoff home run in Atlanta on June 14. The Giants' 49 home runs are the third-fewest in baseball, ahead of the Marlins and Royals, who entered Saturday with 38 each.
