Worth noting

• Alberto Callaspo has made seven errors in June after having just one in the first two months of the season. Callaspo is typically a strong defensive third baseman, but Scioscia believes the slump is something that happens to every player and that Callaspo will come out of it.

"You're always going to have some issues where you're not full go, and right now, on the defensive side, there have been some plays the last couple weeks that he will make, he just hasn't gotten it done," Scioscia said.
