• All-Star Game rosters and Final Vote candidates will be unveiled Saturday during a 5:30 p.m. CT television special on FOX. As of the most recent vote total update, Cardinals outfielder Carlos Beltran and catcher Yadier Molina were leading at their respective positions.

• Triple-A Memphis snapped a five-game losing streak with a win over Iowa on Wednesday. Pacific Coast League All-Star Brock Peterson delivered a tiebreaking single in the ninth inning to lift Memphis. Marc Rzepczynski pitched two scoreless innings of relief and earned the win. Fernando Salas picked up his first save since being optioned to Triple-A.

• The Cardinals welcome the Marlins to town on Friday for their only visit of the season. Miami is slated to start St. Louis-area native Jacob Turner (2-0, 1.76 ERA) in the series opener. Nathan Eovaldi (1-0, 2.00 ERA) and Jose Fernandez (5-4, 2.72 ERA) will start for the Marlins over the weekend.

• Left-hander Rob Kaminsky, the 28th-overall pick in the 2013 First-Year Player Draft, made his professional debut with the Class A Gulf Coast League Cardinals on Thursday. Kaminsky worked around two hits while striking out the side in one scoreless inning.
