Worth noting

• The Rockies are expected to call up right-handed pitcher Chad Bettis, their second-round Draft pick in 2010 out of Texas Tech, from Double-A Tulsa to start against the Braves on Thursday night.

Bettis, 24, is 3-4 with a 3.14 ERA in 12 starts at Tulsa in a season interrupted by an oblique injury that cost him most of May and all of June. In his last start on Saturday against Northwest Arkansas, he pitched seven scoreless innings with two hits, eight strikeouts and three walks.
