Worth noting

• Bud Norris, who made his Orioles debut Thursday against his former team, will likely travel to Houston on Sunday to close out personal matters in his old town before joining the Orioles on the road in San Diego. He'll either take his work day Saturday or Sunday, and the team is waiting on that and a few other factors before deciding its pitching rotation next week.

• Hunter Harvey, the Orioles' top selection in this year's First-Year Player Draft, pitched three no-hit scoreless innings Thursday for the Gulf Coast League Orioles. The right-hander struck out eight and walked one.

• Friday night marked the 150th consecutive game that J.J. Hardy and Manny Machado have started alongside one another on the left side of the Orioles infield. That's the fourth-longest streak in the Majors since 1946.

• Jason Hammel (right flexor mass tightness) got an MRI on Friday morning, but the team hasn't yet heard the results. Hammel was placed on the 15-day disabled list Wednesday, when Norris was added.

Dr. John Wilckens will evaluate the MRI before the team decides what to do next with Hammel.
