• Left-hander Jon Niese gave up runs in the first and second innings Tuesday for Double-A Binghamton, in what the Mets hope will be his final rehab start. The Mets tentatively expect to activate Niese for next Sunday's game in Arizona, moving back to a six-man rotation at that point.
