Worth noting

• Friday will be fireworks night at Safeco Field, with the second postgame fireworks show of the season following the 7:10 p.m. PT game against the Brewers.

• Ken Griffey Jr.'s Mariners Hall of Fame induction will take place prior to Saturday's 6:10 p.m. game against the Brewers and fans will receive a Griffey Hall of Fame bobblehead. Only scattered single tickets remain for that contest.

There will also be a Hall of Fame luncheon honoring Griffey on Friday at Safeco Field, but that event is already sold out.
