Worth noting

• Catcher Alex Avila played in another rehab game with Triple-A Toledo on Saturday. Serving as the team's designated hitter, Avila went 0-for-3.

Avila's been on the disabled list since Aug. 11 with delayed concussive symptoms.

He caught three innings on Thursday, but had to leave the game with a headache.

• Since the start of the 2006 season, the Tigers have a .648 winning percentage in Interleague Play. That's the second-best mark among Major League teams over that span, with only the Red Sox having a better percentage, at .674.
