Worth noting

• Third baseman Adrian Beltre was back in the lineup Thursday after being sidelined for a week with tightness in his left quad muscle. Beltre went 1-for-2, was hit by a pitch and scored a run.

Shin-Soo Choo was used at designated hitter for the sixth straight game because of soreness in his left elbow. Choo has been on a long-toss program and is hoping to play left field Friday. He said there is no question he'll be ready to play the field on Opening Day. In Thursday's game, he went 1-for-5 with two strikeouts.

Jurickson Profar had some minor dental work done as a follow up to having his four wisdom teeth taken out last week. He was given Thursday off and will be back in the lineup Friday.

J.P. Arencibia had another day of getting at-bats in Minor League games. Arencibia is hitting .188 in the Cactus League, but is 4-for-12 with a double and a home run in his last three games.

• Infielder Brent Lillibridge left Thursday's game in the ninth inning with a tight right hamstring.

• Pitchers Michael Zouzalik, Travis Dean and Jose Samayoa were released from Minor League camp.
