Worth noting

• The Mets announced that Frank Viola was released Tuesday from New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where Viola underwent successful open-heart surgery last week. Viola was to be the Mets' Triple-A Las Vegas pitching coach this season before his heart condition interfered. The Mets still hope he will be able to coach later this summer.
