Worth noting

• The Blue Jays' 2-0 win on Friday was an unusual one -- just the 20th game in franchise history they won with three hits or less. The club finished with three hits, none of which drove in runs. Dioner Navarro's forceout brought in one run while the second run scored on an Oriole error.

• Navarro has been tough for opposing pitchers to deal with this season when it comes to strikeouts. He has fanned just one time so far this year. He leads the Majors in the hardest to strike out category.

Melky Cabrera stretched his hitting streak to 12 on Saturday with a third-inning single off Baltimore starter Bud Norris. That ties him for the team's record for a hitting streak at the start of season, set by Vernon Wells in 2006.
