• Center fielder Denard Span went 1-for-2 with an RBI and a walk for Class A Hagerstown on Friday night. He is expected to be activated from the 7-day disabled list on Saturday and be in the lineup against the Cardinals. Outfielder Steven Souza Jr. is expected to be sent back to Triple-A Syracuse.
