Worth noting

• Archie Bradley, who is on the Minor League disabled list with a mild flexor strain, will start a throwing program in four or five days, Towers said.

It's unclear when Bradley will pitch in a game.

• "We are probably going to take it slower. There is no real rush," Towers said. "It's based on how he feels. It's going to take a while to build his arm back up, so I imagine he'll be in extended [spring training] for some time, so we can build him back up again so he can get to 75 or 80 pitches."

• Dave Duncan, D-backs special assistant to the GM and pitching consultant, will be inducted into the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in Springfield, Mo.

• Cory Hahn, who was drafted in the 34th round of the 2013 First-Year Player Draft by the D-backs, graduated from Arizona State University. He was paralyzed during a game in his freshman season.
