Worth noting

Tommy Hunter will not travel with the Orioles on their upcoming road trip, remaining in Baltimore as he rehabs from a groin strain. Hunter could throw while the team is gone, and he is eligible to be activated toward the end of the O's three-city trip. Hunter would probably need a rehab game or two, Showalter said.

• With a season-high four hits Friday, Nick Markakis (1,429) passed Paul Blair for sole possession of eighth place on the Orioles' all-tie hits list. Brian Roberts' 1,452 is seventh on the list.

• Ravens kicker Justin Tucker threw out the ceremonial first pitch on Saturday.

• Orioles reliever Darren O'Day has been nominated for the Bob Feller Act of Valor Award, which honors three individuals who reflect the values of the Hall of Famer and former Indians pitcher.

The award, created in 2013 with the support of the United States Navy, the Cleveland Indians, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, the Battleship USS Alabama and Anne Feller, is presented to one U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer, one Baseball Hall of Famer and one active MLB player.
