• Outfielder Engel Beltre also has been on the disabled list since Spring Training with a fractured right tibia but has been doing full baseball activities and could be ready to start playing in games within the next few days. Beltre will likely start in Arizona in extended Spring Training before going to one of the Minor League teams.

• Pitcher Cody Buckel has been placed on the disabled list at Myrtle Beach.

• Rangers reliever Jason Frasor has a 1.89 ERA, 13th best among American League relievers.

• Jim Adduci, who is on the disabled list with a broken pinky finger on his left hand, was 1-for-4 on a rehab assignment with Double-A Frisco on Wednesday. The hit was a triple and Adduci, who played left field, is 2-for-8 in two games. He will continue his rehab with Triple-A Round Rock on Thursday.
