Woth noting

• Alex Wood said he felt fine Sunday after pitching in relief both Friday and Saturday. It was the first time in his professional or collegiate career he had pitched two consecutive days.

• Brandon Beachy played catch in the outfield at Miller Park Sunday, throwing from 30 feet and then from 60 feet. He is scheduled to throw a bullpen session sometime this week in efforts to return from Tommy John surgery in June 2012.
