Yost: Salvy great chance to return Sunday

KANSAS CITY -- Royals catcher Salvador Perez likely will be reinstated from the seven-day disabled list on Sunday. Perez was diagnosed with a low-grade concussion which he sustained last Saturday in New York.

"With Salvy there is a great chance he will come off tomorrow," manager Ned Yost said. "We don't know, we're keeping our fingers crossed that all the paperwork gets back."

In his absence, George Kottaras and Brett Hayes, who was recalled from Triple-A Omaha when Perez hit the DL, have been splitting time behind the plate.
