The Orioles are partnering with each affiliate – the Triple-A Norfolk Tides, Double-A Bowie Baysox, High-A Aberdeen IronBirds, and Single-A Delmarva Shorebirds – to complete a service project in their communities, as well as in the communities of Frederick, Md., Sarasota, Fla., and Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. Current Orioles players and coaches, top prospects, broadcasters, members of the front office, Orioles Alumni, and the Oriole Bird will participate in the service projects.

Aberdeen IronBirds and Harford County Education Foundation
The Aberdeen IronBirds players, coaches, and front office staff will assist the Harford County Education Foundation with a school supply packing event, assembling 400 homework packs for students at various schools in the Harford County area. The homework kits will include pencils, markers, paper, folders, and other necessary school supplies that children need in their home to help assist with homework assignments and school projects.
Delmarva Shorebirds and Operation We Care
The Delmarva Shorebirds will partner with the Baltimore Orioles and Operation We Care to host a packing event at Arthur W. Perdue Stadium. Shorebirds players, coaches, and front office staff will create care packages with shampoo, canned food, cookies, snacks, and other items, that will be distributed to active military members and first responders.
Frederick Keys and United Way of Frederick County
The Frederick Keys, Orioles, and United Way of Frederick County will host a Stuff the Bus collection drive to support thousands of Frederick County Public Schools students in ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families, providing them with school supplies. Leading up to the event, community members are invited to bring new, unused school supplies to Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium. Participants will also have the opportunity to write a note of support to students as they enter the new school year.
Bowie Baysox and Caring Cupboard and Green Team Bowie
The Baysox will work with the city’s Green Team to help beautify a few of Bowie’s parks for residents. They will also join forces with the Caring Cupboard for a food drive and to aid in stocking shelves and delivering food to families in need.
Norfolk Tides and the Boys & Girls Club of Southampton Roads, Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia, and Roc Solid Foundation
Tides players and staff will pack book bags for pediatric cancer patients at Harbor Park as part of an event with the Roc Solid Foundation. They will also stock shelves with produce, break down boxes, and transfer food in preparation for upcoming food distributions at the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia. Additionally, The Tides will participate in a wiffle ball event with the Boys & Girls Club of Southampton Roads at Young Terrace Park in Norfolk, playing wiffle ball and interacting with children in their summer program.
FCL Orioles and Girls, Inc. and Boys & Girls Club of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties
The Orioles will host a youth baseball clinic at Ed Smith Stadium, where up to 75 participants from Girls, Inc., and the Boys & Girls Club of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties have been invited to receive hitting, pitching, baserunning, and fielding instruction from Orioles minor league coaches and players on the stadium field.
DSL Orioles Orange and Liga Quezada, Liga Deportiva y Cultural Ozuna Aquino
The DSL Orioles Orange will host a youth clinic at the Baseball City Complex, in Boca Chica, Dominican Republic, for 40 participants, ages 8-13, from two local baseball programs – Liga Deportiva Quezada and Liga Deportiva y Cultural Ozuna Aquino, giving them the opportunity to experience the day in the life of a minor league baseball player.
And, the DSL Orioles Black will participate in a beach clean-up at Boca Chica Municipal Hall. In collaboration with local authorities, the Orioles will strive to raise awareness and educate all participants on the impacts of plastics and Styrofoam in the environment.
