Before having his contract selected on June 2, 2025, he split time between Double-A Northwest Arkansas (38 G) and Triple-A Omaha (12 G) and slashed .322/.389/.593 (64-for-199) with 15 home runs and 56 RBI, which led all Minor League and Major League players...Hit an RBI double off Miles Mikolas in the fourth inning on June 5 (Game 1) in St. Louis, marking his first career hit and RBI in his second big league game...Went 4-for-4 with a double in his sixth career game on June 8 vs. the White Sox in Chicago, becoming the second Royal with a four-hit effort within his first six games, joining Bo Jackson on Sept. 11, 1986...Hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning on July 9 vs. Pittsburgh, a 466-ft. shot that went over the batter’s eye to mark the fourth-longest home run by a Royal at Kauffman Stadium in the Statcast Era (since 2015)...Missed 32 games with a left hamstring strain from July 27-Sept. 1, and in 21 games after returning, he went 11-for-60 with 10 walks (.310 OBP) and eight RBI...Made 59 starts at first base in the Minors from 2024-25, compared to just 23 starts in right field...once joining the Royals, he made 51 of his 52 defensive starts in right field...his 95.3-mph arm strength as a right fielder this season ranked seventh in the Majors among all positions, according to Baseball Savant.

Caglianone reported to High-A Quad Cities following the draft and played in 29 games, slashing .241/.302/.388 (28-for-116, .690 OPS) with nine doubles, one triple, two home runs (one grand slam) and 14 RBI...His first professional home run was a grand slam off Milwaukee’s position player prospect José Acosta...He played in 21 games for Surprise in the Arizona Fall League and posted a .749 OPS with five home runs and 21 RBI...Participated in the AFL Home Run Derby, where he competed against fellow Royals farmhand Carter Jensen, as well as Moises Ballesteros (CHC), Josue Briceño (DET), Garrett Martin (NYY), Kala’i Rosario (MIN), Brock Wilken (MIL) and Peyton Williams (TOR).
