Injury: Right elbow UCL reconstruction surgery with an associated internal brace
IL date: Feb 12 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Spring Training 2027
Status: Continuing rehab and throwing program in the Dominican Republic. Underwent the hybrid procedure in December 2025. (updated: Sept. 29)
OF Owen Caissie
Injury: Lumbar stress reaction
Expected return: Spring Training 2027
Status: Expected to have a normal offseason ramp-up and be ready for Spring Training. Had been experiencing low back discomfort. CT revealed fracture after he was lifted for a pinch-hitter during the third inning Sept. 12. (updated: Sept. 29)
RHP Anthony Bender
Injury: Right shin surgery
Expected return: Spring Training 2027
Status: Will continue rehab in Jupiter, Fla. After first attempting to rehab a stress reaction in his right shin, opted for season-ending surgery on Sept. 23. Expected to be 100 percent by Spring Training. (updated: Sept. 29)

Injury: Left elbow discomfort
Expected return: TBD
Status: Visiting Dr. Keith Meister to determine severity. Experienced the discomfort at the end of the season, per president of baseball operations Peter Bendix. (updated: Sept. 29)
LHP Robby Snelling (Marlins' No. 3 prospect; No. 50 overall)
Injury: Left elbow UCL repair surgery with an internal brace
IL date: May 13 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Spring Training 2027
Status: Expected to throw off mound in Spring Training with a return to game action in May/June. Underwent surgery on May 22. (updated: Sept. 29)
RHP Adam Mazur
Injury: UCL reconstruction with an internal brace (hybrid)
IL date: March 25 (60-day IL)
Expected return: Spring Training 2027
Status: Continuing rehab in Minnesota. Expected to throw off mound at Spring Training and return to game action in April/May. (updated: Sept. 29)
RHP Tyler Zuber
Injury: Right elbow sprain
Expected return: 2027
Status: Will visit Dr. Keith Meister for right elbow discomfort. Had bouts of tightness, pain and soreness off and on. Got to the point he had to stop pitching. (updated: Sept. 29)

Injury: Thoracic outlet syndrome
