Injury: Right shin stress reaction

Expected return: Late September
Status: Will throw off mound in Miami weekend of Sept. 4. Underwent follow-up evaluation after lingering soreness in his shin following Aug. 18 rehab appearance. (updated: Sept. 4)
2B Xavier Edwards
Injury: Left thumb sprain
IL date: Aug. 31 (10-day IL)
Expected return: Mid-September
