PHOENIX - The Colorado Rockies announced today that they have reinstated right-handed pitcher Antonio Senzatela from the 10-day disabled list (blister on right middle finger) and have placed right-handed pitcher German Márquez on the paternity list.
Senzatela, 23, was placed on the disabled list on July 13, his first stint on the disabled list in his Major League career … has gone 3-2 with a 5.34 ERA (30.1 IP, 18 ER), nine walks and 20 strikeouts across 10 relief appearances and two starts … was recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on July 3, his second stint with the Rockies after making the Opening Day roster, and went 1-1 with a 4.15 ERA (13.0 IP, 6 ER) in two starts … was 2-1 with a 6.23 ERA (17.1 IP, 12 ER), six walks and 14 strikeouts in 10 relief appearances before being optioned to Triple-A Albuquerque on May 4 … in 48 career appearances, including 22 starts, across two seasons with Colorado, has gone 13-7 with a 4.80 ERA (165.0 IP, 88 ER), 56 walks and 122 strikeouts.
Márquez, 23, has gone 8-8 with a 5.00 ERA (108.0 IP, 60 ER), 40 walks and 112 strikeouts in 20 starts this season … was a member of his second career Opening Day roster in 2018 … in 55 career appearances, 52 starts, across three seasons with Colorado, has gone 20-16 with a 4.68 ERA (290.2 IP, 151 ER), 95 walks and 274 strikeouts.
