Vice President - Community Impact
Tanya Draper Douthit joined the Royals as the Vice President of Community Impact in July 2026. In this role, she leads the development and execution of the club's community engagement, charitable giving and fundraising strategy, and oversees the Kansas City Royals Foundation, including operational responsibility for the Kansas City Urban Youth Academy, Royals Alumni initiatives and the Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame.
Prior to joining the Royals, Tanya spent 16 years with Rose Brooks Center, a Kansas City nonprofit, where she held roles of increasing responsibility, lastly serving as Chief Operating Officer. In that role, she led programs and services, performance and quality improvement, risk prevention and management, legislative advocacy, and accreditation. Before moving to Kansas City, she was the executive director of The Compass Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Tanya holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Kansas State University and a Master of Social Work from the University of Kansas, and is a licensed clinical social worker. Tanya and her husband, Chad, have a son, Oliver.
