Angels Green Heroes

The Angels are proud to partner with OC Waste & Recycling to recognize outstanding green heroes in Orange County! This contest celebrates young leaders and educators who are making a positive impact in their schools and communities while fostering the next generation of environmental stewards. Students, educators, classrooms, and clubs demonstrating leadership in sustainability are eligible for nomination. Complete the nomination form below for a chance to be selected as this year’s Green Hero. The grand prize winner will receive tickets to a home game for their classroom or club and be recognized by the Angels Baseball Foundation and OC Waste & Recycling.

An Orange County (OC) educator, student, classroom, or club championing sustainability through activities such as composting, waste diversion, or sustainability education. Educators, classrooms, youth clubs, homeschools, and students in Orange County are eligible (an educator teaching in OC but living in another county can still be nominated as long as the classroom is in OC).

The Green Hero will be selected by a group from Angels Baseball, Orange County Department of Education, and OC Waste & Recycling. The Green Hero will be announced on April 22 (Earth Day).
