ANAHEIM – The Angels announced today that Manager Phil Nevin will not return for the 2024 season. The Club will begin the process of hiring a new manager immediately.

Nevin originally joined the Angels Organization as the Club’s third base coach in 2022. The Southern California native was named interim manager in June that season before agreeing to become full-time field manager for the 2023 campaign. During his 268 games at the helm, the Angels posted a 119-149 (.444) record.

Angels General Manager Perry Minasian will host a media availability on tomorrow, Tuesday, Oct. 3. Full details will be sent in a subsequent release.
