Straw lays out for amazing catch

OAKLAND -- Even Astros starting pitcher Justin Verlander couldn’t help but say ‘Wow’ after watching teammate Myles Straw make a terrific catch in the second inning Saturday night at the Coliseum.

Straw, making his first start since being called up from Triple-A Round Rock earlier this week, raced down a fly ball off the bat of the A's Matt Olson in left field with a long run and an acrobatic dive as he hit the foul line. The catch probability was five percent, according to Statcast.
