Group Charity Tickets

Astros Charity Ticket Program

The 2022 World Champion Houston Astros are grateful to the hundreds of vital nonprofit programs that make our community a stronger, more vibrant place for all of us. As a small token of our appreciation for the outreach and impact these nonprofits have on our community, the Astros are proud to grant complimentary home game tickets to qualifying 501(c)(3) nonprofits within the Astros' home territory. The process to apply for 2023 Astros Charity Ticket Grants is described and the application form is provided below. Please note that the Charity Tickets will follow the single game ticket on sale timeline with tickets for the second half becoming available following July 10th.

2023 Charity Ticket Incentives

The Astros Foundation would like to see your group enjoying the game, please take a group photo and send to @AstrosCares on Twitter, Astros Foundation on Facebook, or The Astros Foundation on Instagram. Every month we will select groups to receive a third game to attend.

Who can apply for the Charity Ticket Program?

  • 501(c)(3) charities that serve children and/or adults in the greater Houston area that for various reasons do not have the resources on their own to attend a game.

Are there any limitations and restrictions?

  • Each group may apply for up to two games a year. There is no guarantee that two games will be awarded.
  • 501(c)(3) charities may request up to 50 tickets per game
  • Requests that require special seating for disabled individuals are available, however, wheelchairs and wheelchair attendant seating is limited. Keep in mind, each wheelchair ticket will come with a wheelchair attendant ticket. Please request the number of wheelchair tickets needed (not including attendants).

What are the rules?

  • The Astros Charity Group Ticket Program is designed to have a meaningful impact on those awarded a ticket grant. The Astros expect that once tickets are granted that they be fully used. Ticket usage is tracked. Groups that do not take full advantage of their tickets will be unable to participate in the future.
  • Groups requesting a ticket grant must complete all parts of the official application.
  • Applications received with less than two weeks advance notice of the earliest game requested may not be processed.
  • The program is limited to pre-determined game dates.
  • Once tickets are awarded they cannot be exchanged for a different game.
  • In the event the tickets are lost, they cannot be replaced.
  • The tickets awarded through the grant program cannot be re-sold. If charities or persons receiving charity tickets resell any of the tickets donated to them the organization will be permanently disqualified.

What is the process? How do I know if my group is granted tickets?

  • Processing of applications can take time, so please fill out your application online well in advance of the game that you are requesting.
  • You will be notified in writing via email from [email protected] of the game(s) for which you have been awarded tickets and how to collect your tickets. Please add [email protected] to your address book so you receive all communication regarding the charity ticket program.
  • All tickets will be managed and used through the MLB Ballpark app. For more information about the Ballpark app, please visit

Please plan carefully before submitting your application. Once you are awarded tickets they are yours and cannot be reallocated or exchanged.
