Rogers Centre | Netting

The Toronto Blue Jays extended the protective netting at Rogers Centre, as part of the club’s commitment to improve fan safety while preserving the live baseball experience.

The protective netting extends down the length of the first and third baseline walls, to Sections 113C & 130C, respectively, tapering off to the curve before the foul poles. The height of the extended netting matches what was in place behind home plate previously (30 feet), and the colour and knotting is the same as well. The state-of-the-art netting is designed to blend into the background and provide greater visibility, ensuring fans can remain close to the action in a safe manner, without compromising the viewing experience.
