Who are J FORCE?

J FORCE are an integral part of the in-game entertainment experience at the ballpark. They execute on-camera giveaways, entertain and engage the crowd in the stands, meet with fans during games on the concourse and at Blue Jays' events, and get the opportunity to work within the community.

What we are looking for?

J FORCE are looking for individuals who are energetic, athletic, comfortable in front of large crowds and are knowledgeable about the game of baseball! Training in dance, gymnastics, cheer, theatre/performance, on-camera and/or broadcasting are an asset. Members must be 19 years of age or older to be considered.

Commitment

All J FORCE members must be committed to working all 81 home games of the 2018 baseball season, as well as postseason and any additional promotional or themed events as required. Candidates must be available on Wednesday nights for all team rehearsals starting at the beginning of January, the weekend of January 20 & 21, as well as additional rehearsals up until Opening Day, Thursday, March 29. With offseason events and rehearsals, being a member of J FORCE will be a 10-month commitment throughout 2018.

Application deadline

If you think you would be a good fit for the team, please submit your cover letter, resume and headshot to jforce@bluejays.com.

Applications must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7 in order to be considered.

What to expect if you are selected for an audition

The candidates selected for an audition will learn various pump-up routines as well as the 7th inning stretch. Participants will be required to perform the routines in small groups, followed by an interactive exercise simulating on-camera promotions.

The week following the audition, all participants who advance will be invited to attend an in-person interview with members of the Toronto Blue Jays Marketing Team.
