The Brewers' charmed week continues.
Four days removed from winning their first World Series championship, the club received news that more hardware will be coming its way, as Brice Turang and Jackson Chourio were named 2026 National League Gold Glove Award winners on Sunday night.
For Milwaukee, that represents a two-for-two showing after Chourio and Turang were their only finalists announced on Oct. 14.
It's the second career honor at second base for Turang, who remains the only Brewer to win at the position since the franchise's inaugural 1969 season. He is just the third player to win multiple Gold Gloves with the Brewers, joining Cecil Cooper (1979-80 at first base) and George Scott (1972-76, also at first base).
It should come as no major surprise, as the 26-year-old had another fantastic season for Milwaukee by any defensive metric. In addition to finishing second in the Majors (first among infielders) with 23 defensive runs saved, his 19 outs above average were tied for the fourth most -- and trailed only JJ Wetherholt (25) of the Cardinals among second basemen.
Chourio, meanwhile, is a first-time winner in left field. He’s the fifth Brewers outfielder to take home a Gold Glove Award, joining Sal Frelick (2024), Lorenzo Cain (2019), Carlos Gómez (2013) and Sixto Lezcano (1979).
Coming out of his age-22 season, Chourio's ongoing efforts to improve in the field have been as evident as his growth at the plate. After a middling 2025 season (-4 DRS, +3 OAA) spent mostly in center, he had an error-free 2026 campaign while leading all NL left fielders in defensive runs saved (13) and tying with Cody Bellinger for the lead in fielding run value (+8).
His eight outfield assists were a career high, as was his arm value (+3), per Baseball Savant.
