PHILADELPHIA -- Braves second baseman Ozzie Albies made some history Saturday with his fourth career grand slam in Saturday's 15-7 win over the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park.

At just 22 years old, Albies is the second-youngest player in Major League history to hit his fourth slam. Giancarlo Stanton beat Albies by a mere seven days, completing the feat in 2012 at 22 years and 194 days old.

Albies' blast capped a seven-run third inning for Atlanta and extended the lead to 11-1. With three runs already across in the frame and the Braves leading 7-1, Ronald Acuna Jr. worked a walk from Phillies starter Zach Eflin to load the bases with two outs. That ended Eflin's night, with the Phillies turning the game over to reliever Ranger Suarez.

Albies took a pair of fastballs for strikes from the left-hander before pouncing all over an 0-2 slider on the low-inside corner. He turned it around at 107.4 mph, according to Statcast, sending a line shot into the left-field seats for his second grand slam of the season.

“I always love when he can hit from the right side,” manager Brian Snitker said. “He’s a dangerous little sucker from the right side.”

Albies, who also hit one on May 4 against the Marlins, has half of Atlanta's four grand slams in 2019. Austin Riley and Acuna accounted for the others. Going back to the start of last season, Albies has hit four of the Braves' eight grand slams.
