Brewer Hicklen played in his third Major League season (one with Kansas City, one with Milwaukee and one with Detroit), posting a slash line of .667/.750/.667 (2-for-3) in his lone game...Hicklen was designated by assignment by the Milwaukee Brewers on March 27...He was selected off waivers by Detroit on March 28 and assigned to the Toledo Triple-A affiliate...He was recalled to Detroit on April 8...Hicklen started in center field at Coors Field in the 11-1 win that day over the Rockies, logging three putouts...Detroit designated him for assignment on July 23...Selected off waivers by Philadelphia on July 26 and sent to the Triple-A affiliate Lehigh Valley...Hicklen was designated for assignment by Philadelphia on Sept. 16...He cleared waivers and returned to Lehigh Valley on Sept. 19...After electing free agency on Nov. 6, Hicklen signed to the Braves on Nov. 25.

Batted .246 with 22 HR, 72 RBI and 44 SB in 115 games at Triple-A Nashville...Led all Brewers Minor League players in HR (22)…Became the first player in Nashville Sounds history (est. 1978) to produce a season with 20 HR and 40 SB...Led the International League in stolen bases (44) and hit by pitches (18) while ranking among the leaders in HR (tied-eighth, 22) and runs (tied-ninth, 78)…Had one stint with Milwaukee (9/1-9/7) and appeared in three games, including a pair of starts in right field (9/1 at Cincinnati and 9/3 vs. St. Louis).

Batted .236 with 10 HR, 33 RBI and 21 SB in 72 games between Triple-A Omaha (Royals) and Triple-A Lehigh Valley (Phillies)…Was traded by Kansas City to Philadelphia on 8/22 in exchange for cash...Signed as a free agent with Milwaukee on 11/28.

2022

He appeared in six games with the Royals in 2022, including his Major League debut on May 26 at Minnesota…he had two stints as a replacement player with Kansas City, from May 26-30 and July 14-17...He earned Omaha Player of the Year and MiLB.com Organization All-Star honors after posting a .248/.348/.502 slash line (119-for-480, .850 OPS)...He led all Royals farmhands with 28 HR while also recording 30 doubles and 35 steals, becoming the fourth Royals Minor League player since 2005 to record at least 20 of each in a single season, joining Bobby Witt Jr. (2021), Alex Gordon (2006) and Alan Moye (2005).

2021

Played in 107 games with Double-A Northwest Arkansas, posting a .780 OPS with 15 doubles, three triples, 16 home runs, 57 RBI and 40 stolen bases, the third-most by a Royals minor leaguer, behind only Dairon Blanco’s 41 and Tyler Tolbert’s 55....His 40 stolen bases were the most by any player in Double-A, three more than Somerset’s (Yankees) Michael Beltré...Hit a fourth-inning grand slam in the Double-A Central Championship-clinching Game 3 win over Wichita.
