Once you enter the Field of Dreams Movie Site and Field, fans can have a catch on the original Movie Site, play cornhole in the outfield, and walk through the corn path to make their way to the MLB field.

What to do at the ballpark
Security and Ballpark Regulations
In order to expedite your entry into the Field of Dreams Game, please be aware that the following measures will be implemented. Major League Baseball reserves the right at any time to adjust entry policies at their sole discretion without any prior notice. Further, items will not be permitted to remain unattended in Field of Dreams transportation vehicles and there will be no storage available for prohibited items at any facility.
Prohibited Items
- Aerosol cans (i.e., hairspray, mace, pepper spray, etc.)
- Animals (except certified service animals or service animals in training)
- Banners or signs larger than 16”x16” or containing commercial, political, offensive, or obscene messages
- Baseball bats
- Beach balls or other inflatables
- Drugs or other illegal substances/ paraphernalia (including medical marijuana)
- Firearms or other weapons (i.e., knives, brass knuckles, etc.)
- Fireworks
- Glass bottles
- Full-size baseball bats
- Hard sided coolers
- Laptops (exceptions for official working personnel)
- Laser devices or pointers
- Noisemaking devices (i.e., air horns, cowbells, etc.)
- Selfie sticks
- Skateboards and rollerblades
- Smokeless/chewing tobacco
- Professional commercial-grade camera equipment
- Toy guns or knives (including water guns)
- Sticks or clubs
- Unmanned aerial vehicles (drones)
- Other objects that may compromise public safety, cause nuisance and/or harm the reputation of the game, as determined by Major League Baseball.
If any prohibited items are found at the gates, security personnel will ask fans to return the items to their vehicles or dispose of them. MLB will not accept or store prohibited items at the gates or Guest Services.
Bag Policy
- Bags larger than 16” x 16” x 8” are prohibited at Field of Dreams.
- Exceptions will be made for medical and diaper bags.
- All bags are subject to search.
Abusive Fan Behavior & Derogatory Language Policy
MLB is committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all fans, players, coaches, umpires, and staff. Any form of abusive behavior or derogatory language is strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated. All guests are prohibited from:
- Trespassing on the playing field at any time
- Interfering with baseballs that are in play
- Throwing or tossing objects
- Using foul, obscene or derogatory language or gestures
- Derogatory language is defined as offensive language concerning a person’s race, ethnicity, gender, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, or national origin.
- Anyone using such language is subject to automatic ejection from the ballpark.
- Using betting-related, abusive speech and behavior that is directed at players, players’ family members, Club personnel, or umpires.
- Misusing or overconsuming alcohol, including underage consumption
- Behaving in a manner that is disruptive, unruly, or abusive
- Accessing areas of the ballpark without a proper ticket, pass, or credential
- Misusing tickets, passes, or credentials in any way
- Bringing prohibited items into the ballpark
- Entering or walking into the corn unless it is part of the official MLB corn maze
Violations of the Fan Code of Conduct will not be tolerated and may lead to ejection from the ballpark, a ban on attending future games, or other consequences. Guests who are found to have used derogatory language will be ejected from the ballpark.
Guests are encouraged to report violations of the Fan Code of Conduct to the nearest ballpark staff member or by texting ALERT MLBFOD to 848261.
Banner, Flag & Sign Policy
MLB welcomes baseball-related banners, flags, and signs as long as they do NOT:
- Exceed 3’ x 5’ in size
- Contain wood, metal or inflexible materials
- Have any items affixed to them
- Interfere with the game or other guests’ enjoyment of the game
- Obstruct the view of other guests
- Obstruct existing ballpark signage or advertising
- Contain any language that is:
- Commercial (NO signage/ads pertaining to personal businesses or other commercial entities not associated with MLB)
Obscene (NO foul language or disrespectful statements) - Abusive or non-supportive towards any teams, players, countries, or regions
- Political in nature
- Commercial (NO signage/ads pertaining to personal businesses or other commercial entities not associated with MLB)
- Attach to any ballpark walls, structures, or poles of any sort
- Parade through any part of the ballpark/venue; may be displayed between innings ONLY
MLB reserves the right to remove any banner, flag, and/or sign that is deemed in violation of this policy. Venue-specific adjustments to this policy may only be made in coordination with MLB.
Food & Beverage Policy
Outside food (unless for a medical-related circumstance), alcohol or other beverages are strictly prohibited into Field of Dreams.
Fans are permitted to bring factory-sealed plastic water bottles and empty refillable bottles. Refillable bottles must be empty upon entry and may be refilled at designated water stations inside Field of Dreams. Glass, metal, and ceramic containers are not permitted.
Smoking Policy
Smoking, including vaping and the use of electronic cigarettes or other tobacco products, is prohibited throughout the Field of Dreams campus (including but not limited to the ballpark and the historic movie site). There are no designated smoking areas, and re-entry is prohibited. Anyone violating this policy may be subject to ejection without a refund.
Ticketing & Re-Entry Policy
Children under 30 inches tall do not require a ticket for entry and must be seated on the lap of an accompanying adult.
Guests are not permitted to leave the Field of Dreams site and return on the same ticket. Re-entry will be permitted only in the case of an emergency or extenuating circumstances. In the event of an emergency, please see security personnel prior to exiting the site.
Tailgating Policy
- Tailgating in Field of Dreams parking areas is strictly prohibited.
Retail Locations
Official MLB Merchandise trailers will be placed throughout the site, including two at the main entrance next to the red barn with additional locations on the concourse and program stands will be located throughout the venue. The locations will feature an assortment of merchandise including event specific merchandise including commemorative programs, men's, women's and kids t-shirts, headwear, novelty items including pins, key chains, and pennants, along with collectors' items celebrating the uniqueness of this game. There will also be an assortment of Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins in-line product.
The Baseballism x Field of Dreams Store, a year-round location at the ballpark, will also be open throughout the event.
Please note all retail locations are CASHLESS.

Concessions

Aramark will deliver a variety of locally-inspired concession items as well as contactless menus and mobile ordering options for the highly anticipated matchup between the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins in Dyersville, Iowa, on Thursday, August 13.
Specialty food and beverage offerings will include by our participating teams like Philly Cheesesteak and Wild Rice Bratwurst! Fans can also purchase commemorative items including the Field of Dreams Souvenir Cup at various concession locations.
To deliver a safe, seamless and contactless experience, Walk-Off Market will also provide fans with the option of ordering beer using QR-codes and mobile ordering from the MLB Ballpark app. Concessions at the event will be available throughout the entire event site. All Aramark areas will be cashless to keep lines moving.
