Blue Jays fans turn out in Seattle

SEATTLE -- Baseball fans in British Columbia tend to root for the only Major League Baseball team in Canada -- the Toronto Blue Jays.

So, when Toronto visits Seattle, Blue Jays fans tend to come to Safeco Field in droves. Monday was no different, as hundreds clad in Blue Jays gear rushed into the ballpark once the gates opened to catch the end of batting practice. They gave plenty of cheers each time a Toronto player hit a home run.

Manager John Gibbons said he remembers the good turnouts from his last tenure as the Toronto skipper.
