Cubs win challenge to end Cardinals' fifth inning

CHICAGO -- The Cubs had a call overturned after it was reviewed on instant replay on Saturday.

First-base umpire Angel Hernandez signaled that Allen Craig was safe at first with two outs in the Cardinals' fifth inning despite a strong throw from third baseman Mike Olt to first baseman Anthony Rizzo.

Cubs manager Rick Renteria challenged the call, and after a a review of one minute and five seconds, it was overturned, and the inning was over.

The Cubs now have challenged 13 calls and won six of them this season.
