Dodgers lose challenge, follow with homer
LOS ANGELES -- With two outs in the seventh inning Wednesday, Dodgers manager Don Mattingly challenged a ruling on the field that Justin Turner did not get hit by a Jordan Zimmermann pitch.
A replay review determined the call would stand and Turner continued his at-bat.
However, losing the challenge proved fortuitous for the Dodgers, as Turner homered to center field, breaking a scoreless tie and giving the Dodgers a 2-0 lead against the Nationals.
