Giants keep inning alive with successful challenge

Blanco ruled out at first base before video review overturns call

SAN FRANCISCO -- Another challenge, another overturned call for Giants manager Bruce Bochy.

With runners on first and second and nobody out in the bottom of the second inning Sunday vs. the Rockies, Gregor Blanco hit a dribbler down the third-base line. First-base umpire Mark Wegner originally ruled Blanco out after Juan Nicasio's throw to first.

Bochy called for a review, and the call was overturned after one minute and six seconds. Hunter Pence followed with an RBI single to extend the Giants' lead to 3-0.

Bochy is now 12-for-16 in challenge attempts this season.
