TOYOTA PHILLIES ALUMNI WEEKEND LINEUP

Friday, August 3
"The Flyin' Hawaiian" Shane Victorino Retires as a Phillie. All fans receive a Toyota Shane Victorino Big Head Collectible Print.

It's time to say "mahalo" to Phillies legend Shane Victorino as he retires from his career in baseball. An integral part of the '08 championship team, Victorino will be celebrated prior to that night's 7:05 p.m. game, and have the honor of throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.

Victorino was a two-time All-Star and three-time Gold Glove Award recipient during his eight seasons with the Phillies. He was a key part of the Phillies' championship season thanks to his defensive plays and crucial hits, including a grand slam against Milwaukee Brewers pitcher C.C. Sabathia in Game 2 of the 2008 National League Division Series, and a game-tying, two-run home run in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series.
Saturday, August 4
Induction Ceremony of Roy Halladay and Pat Gillick into the Toyota Phillies Wall of Fame, with commemorative print for all fans. Plus, 2008 World Champions' Home Run Derby WIFFLE Ball Challenge at The Yard.
In what's sure to be an emotional evening, fans are encouraged to be in their seats early as legends' Roy Halladay and Pat Gillick are inducted into the Phillies Wall of Fame and bestowed with the team's highest honor, prior to that night's 7:05 p.m. game. Taking part in the dual induction ceremony will be Wall of Famers, as well as Halladay's wife, Brandy, and sons, Braden and Ryan.
Halladay, who died tragically in November 2017, is one of only four Phillies to be inducted without a fan vote. "Doc" pitched with the Phillies from 2010-13, winning the 2010 National League Cy Young Award. He also threw a perfect game and postseason no-hitter in 2010.
Gillick, who was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011, has had a tremendous impact on the game, where as general manager he led the Phillies to their second World Series championship and the first two of five consecutive NL East titles. He is currently in his 13th year with the Phillies, serving as senior advisor to the president and general manager.
Other pre-game highlights for fans who arrive early at the ballpark include a 2008 World Champions' Home Run Derby WIFFLE Ball Challenge at The Yard. The winners of the Derby will advance to the championship round before Sunday's Toyota Phillies Alumni Day game.
2008 Phillies World Series Champions Luncheon, 12:00-2:00 p.m. Limited tickets available at Phillies.com.
