Starting with a bang! Marsh brings back homer on FIRST PITCH in Philly

PHILADELPHIA – The Phillies badly need a break, and maybe they got one in the first inning on Saturday night.

robbed Braves right fielder Ronald Acuña Jr. of a home run on the first pitch of the game at Citizens Bank Park. Phillies left-hander Cristopher Sánchez started Acuña with a fastball that Acuña smashed to center field.

The ball left Acuña’s bat at 107.6 mph.

But Marsh tracked the ball and timed his jump perfectly at the center-field wall to rob Acuña of his second homer of the season.

The one good break didn't end up being enough for the Phillies, though, who lost 3-1 thanks to a miscue-fueled Braves rally vs. in the third inning.
