Stott bringing angels to infield with homage to late Phillies at Field of Dreams Game

August 12th, 2026

DYERSVILLE, Iowa -- may be nearing a class of his own when it comes to custom gear for special events.

There was the No. 2 pencil bat he used at the 2023 Little League Classic. There were the personalized Elmo cleats for his daughter, Braxtyn, on Players' Weekend last year. And there have been other designs for everything from celebrating his catchy walk-up song to raising awareness for childhood cancer.

But if you thought Stott couldn't top some of the stuff he's done in the past, wait until you see the cleats he plans to wear Thursday night at the MLB at Field of Dreams Game.

Designed by Ryan Stevens of NXT LVL Customs -- the team behind most of Stott's custom gear -- Stott's cleats are the perfect ode to the classic 1989 film "Field of Dreams." They feature late Phillies icons Tug McGraw, Roy Halladay, Darren Daulton, Robin Roberts, Richie Ashburn and Harry Kalas walking out of the corn a la "Shoeless" Joe Jackson & Co. in the movie.

Stott certainly won't be alone on Thursday.

Some of his teammates -- none more than Bryce Harper -- have been known to prep for the occasion when it comes to these special events. While Harper usually leans into the Phillie Phanatic theme, it'll be interesting to see what he rolls out on Thursday night in Iowa.

Either way, Stott has already set an extremely high bar with his perfect tribute to the history of both the Phillies and "Field of Dreams."
