Didi (right elbow) possibly out 'a couple days'

Shortstop left the Phillies' 10th-inning, 5-2 win vs. the Nats on Wednesday in the middle of the fifth inning due to stiffness in his right elbow. Nick Maton took his place.

“It just kind of acted up,” manager Joe Girardi said after the game. “He didn't feel it in [batting practice]. He must have taken a swing in the game that he felt it [in], and he told us. I think it was after his second at-bat maybe. And that's when we made the switch. … I imagine he might be out a couple days, like the last time. We're just going to have to evaluate it tomorrow.”

Gregorius did not play for five days in late April, including three games, after he landed on his right elbow trying to make a catch in the outfield at Citizens Bank Park. Gregorius slashed .296/.322/.426 before he missed time and slashed .177/.224/.323 upon his return, before Wednesday.

Gregorius went 0-for-2 with one strikeout before he exited vs. the Nats.
