WASHINGTON -- Monday night’s series opener between the Phillies and Nationals at Nationals Park was postponed because of rain.

The teams will play a split doubleheader Wednesday: Game 1 will begin at 1:05 p.m. ET and Game 2 will begin at 7:05 p.m.

Phils right-hander Jake Arrieta had been scheduled to start Monday, but he will now start on Tuesday instead. Patrick Corbin will be on the mound for the Nats.
