SUICIDE PREVENTION AWARENESS NIGHT

The Pittsburgh Pirates along with Prevent Suicide PA and The American Foundation for Prevention of Suicide (AFSP) invite you to join us for Suicide Prevention Awareness Night at PNC Park. Come out and watch the Pirates take on the Chicago Cubs while raising awareness for suicide prevention!

Prevent Suicide PA is a non-profit organization who strives to collaborate with the community, to reduce suicide, reduce the stigma of suicide, and support those touched by suicide across the state of Pennsylvania. We imagine a world where every life is valued and ever person and community across the Commonwealth embraces the needs of those at risk for suicide and survivors of suicide

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is a national non-profit focused on saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by a suicide. Its Western PA chapter uses 80% of its fundraising dollars for three initiatives: free educational programs to professionals and community members; grants and sponsorships of scientific research into causes and indicators of suicide risk; and advocating for enhanced mental health legislation, especially within our schools.
