2023

Posted a 7.20 ERA (12 ER/15.0 IP) in 12 appearances across two stints with the Royals. Went 2-5 with a 6.85 ERA (72 ER/94.2 IP) in 32 games (15 starts) for Triple-A Omaha...Made his season debut on 5/5 vs. OAK, throwing a season-high 2.2 innings. Optioned to Omaha two days later...Recalled on 7/4 and threw the two fastest pitches of his career that night at MIN: 98.2 and 98.1 mph fastballs to Joey Gallo...In seven outings with the Royals from 7/4-25, posted a 1.29 ERA (1 ER/7.0 IP) with five strikeouts and no walks...Allowed nine runs on nine hits (five HR) in 5.1 innings over his last four appearances with the Royals from 7/26-8/11...Acquired by the Orioles from the Royals in exchange for RHP Cesar Espinal on 12/18.

2022

Heasley started 21 games over four stints with the Royals in 2022…he went 1-6 with a 5.82 ERA (36 ER in 55.2 IP) over his first two stints but went 3-4 with a 4.66 ERA (25 ER in 48.1 IP) over his last two stints, and ended the season with the big league club for the second straight year...He also made nine starts at Triple-A Omaha, where he recorded 10 walks (2.3 BB/9) and 45 strikeouts (10.3 K/9) in 39.1 innings, but six of his nine starts with the Storm Chasers came before his first call-up on May 12...His 21 starts ranked seventh among rookies in 2022...On June 10 vs. Baltimore, Heasley pitched a career-best seven scoreless innings with one hit allowed, becoming the fourth Royal to record at least seven innings of one-hit ball within his first 10 career starts, joining Brady Singer (Sept. 10, 2020), Rich Gale (June 13, 1978) and Steve Busby (April 27, 1973)...Heasley recorded at least six innings with two hits allowed in back-to-back starts on Sept. 16 at Boston and Sept. 22 vs. Minnesota, matching a club record...He held the Red Sox scoreless on two hits over 6.2 innings on Sept. 16, becoming the first Royal to record at least six scoreless innings at Fenway Park since Kevin Appier threw a shutout there on May 5, 1997…the night after Heasley’s start, on Sept. 17, Brady Singer also threw six scoreless innings in Boston...The Royals supported him with one run or fewer in nine of his 21 starts (42.9%) and provided two runs of support or fewer in 14 of his 21 starts (66.7%).

Made his Majors debut on Sept. 17 and took his final three turns in the rotation with Kansas City, after making his first 22 appearances (21 starts) of the season with Double-A Northwest Arkansas...he went 7-3 with a 3.33 ERA (39 ER in 105.1 IP)—third-best in Double-A—and 120 strikeouts (10.3 K/9) with the Naturals to earn Northwest Arkansas Pitcher of the Year honors in his second full pro season...Making his second start on Sept. 25 in Detroit, he became the second Royal since 2004 to record at least 5.0 scoreless innings within his first two career games, joining Eric Skoglund, who had 6.1 scoreless innings in his Majors debut on May 30, 2017 vs. Detroit...Earned his first big league win in his third start on Oct. 1 vs. Minnesota, an 11-6 victory in which he was charged with four runs on six hits and one walk in 5.1 innings...Tied for third among Royals farmhands with seven wins and ranked fourth with 120 strikeouts in 105.1 innings...Had a 1.78 ERA (5 ER in 25.1 IP) through in first five starts in May, but had a 5.73 ERA (28 ER in 44.0 IP) over 10 starts in June and July...over his final seven starts at Double-A, he posted a 1.50 ERA (6 ER in 36.0 IP) with 45 strikeouts (11.3 K/9), before being selected on Sept. 17...Threw a 7.0-inning complete game on Aug. 14 vs. Frisco, in which he allowed no runs on just five hits in a 1-0 win.

2020

Spent the season at the Alternate Training Site in Kansas City, Kansas...Also participated in the Royals’ Postseason Camp at Kauffman Stadium in October.

2019

Named Lexington (A) Pitcher of the Year after posting the third-best ERA (3.12) and opponents’ average (.222) in the South Atlantic League among qualified starters...Named a South Atlantic League midseason All-Star and started twice in the postseason, going 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA (3 ER in 12.0 IP) en route to Lexington’s second-straight league title...Tied for fourth among Royals minor league pitchers in wins (8) and ranked seventh in strikeouts (120)...Recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts and no walks over 6.0 innings on June 24 vs. Columbia, however he took a no-decision in an 8-6 setback…also tallied 10 K’s on May 19 vs. Asheville...Pitched to a 2.64 ERA (19 ER in 64.2 IP) and held opponents to a .197 average (46-for-234) during the first half of the season, spanning his first nine starts (14 appearances)…that included winning each of his first three starts (April 6-16).

2018

In his first professional season, made 11 starts (12 appearances)…pitched to a 3.28 ERA (9 ER in 24.2 IP) and a .208 opponents average (20-for-96) in his final five starts with the Chukars.
