FAN HEALTH PROMISE
COVID-19 is an extremely contagious virus that can lead to severe illness and death. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present regardless of precautions that may be taken. Fans coming to games are subject to the terms and conditions at www.mlb.com/rays/tickets/disclaimer and must follow all ballpark policies, including health and safety rules, while at Tropicana Field.
To provide a safe environment for all fans, staff, players and coaches, all ticketholders must agree, on their own behalf and on behalf of minors and other accompanying parties, that they will not attend the game if on the day of the game or the fourteen (14) days prior to the day of the game:
- they tested positive or presumptively positive for COVID-19 or other communicable disease or were identified as a potential carrier of COVID-19 or other communicable disease.
- they experienced any symptoms commonly associated with COVID-19 or other communicable disease. These may include a fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher; cough; shortness of breath or difficulty breathing; chills; repeated shaking; muscle pain; headache; sore throat; new loss of taste or smell.
- they were in direct contact with or in the immediate vicinity of any person who is confirmed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 or other communicable disease.
Please note that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advises that older adults and people of any age with underlying medical conditions are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19 infection. Fans should evaluate their own risks in determining whether to attend games at Tropicana Field.
