The Tampa Bay Rays have collaborated with Aunt Flow providing free sanitary products in public spaces and supporting communities with increased access to menstrual care.

At Tropicana Field, in all Unisex and Women’s restrooms, fans have access to Aunt Flow products free of charge, ensuring that essential items are available to anyone who needs them during their visit to the ballpark.

The Tampa Bay Rays in partnership with Hillsborough and Pinellas County are proud to announce the establishment of the Billy Bean Scholarship. In memory of Billy Bean, the second MLB player to come out as gay, this scholarship aims to recognize and support outstanding Hillsborough and Pinellas County seniors who are strong allies or strong supporters for the LGBTQ+ community. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional leadership skills in creating a safe and welcoming space within their school and/or communities. Learn More

Closed captioning is available during all events, providing real-time text for public address announcements, in-game audio, and other important ballpark messaging.

Closed captioning can be viewed on the first- and third-base video array boards or accessed on personal mobile devices through the MLB Ballpark app while at Tropicana Field.

The Rays have built a strong culture around preventing and raising awareness about domestic violence through a partnership with St. Pete’s Community Action Stops Abuse (CASA). At Tropicana Field, in each stall of the women’s bathrooms and at central locations in the men’s rooms, there are signs with information and domestic violence awareness hotlines. A bathroom visit may be the only moment of privacy to reach out for help.

The Rays partner with Feeding Tampa Bay to host several food drives throughout the season. Feeding Tampa Bay’s mission is to change lives one meal at a time by leading our community in the fight against hunger. This year, the Rays collected over 7,000 pounds of food through the Fan Fest and Cereal for Summer drive.

The Jackie Robinson Grant Program, established in the summer of 2020, awards not-for-profit organizations that reflect Jackie Robinson’s nine core values: courage, determination, teamwork, persistence, integrity, citizenship, justice, commitment, and excellence. The goals of this program are to invest in organizations that work to break barriers in the areas of housing, workforce development, health equity, criminal justice reform, education and youth development. Katy Feeney was a pioneering female executive in baseball for 40 years. She was passionate about cultivating female talent in baseball and wanted to see women rise into leadership positions. After her untimely death in 2017, the Katy Feeney Leadership Awards were created to recognize exceptional female employees in baseball. This prestigious award celebrates the significant contributions and outstanding initiative demonstrated by these women and honors the legacy of Katy, whose influence has left an indelible mark on our game.
